Meet the Team

The BACIC research team includes faculty and medical professionals with broad expertise to help individuals with hearing impairments.

Team

This study is led by faculty in the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with backgrounds in hearing science and brain imaging.

The team also includes a board-certified physician with specialized knowledge in head and neck surgery, including performing the cochlear implant procedure, along with an expert in advanced statistical methods.
